Phoenix Police Officers Injured in Late-Night Vehicle Crash
In Phoenix, two police officers sustained minor injuries in a late-night crash on Friday. The incident occurred on 7th Avenue near Rose Lane while the officers were traveling northbound in a marked patrol Tahoe. The collision happened at about 11:25 p.m. when another vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the Tahoe.
Following the collision, both officers were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. Phoenix Police Department reported that impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the accident.
