P39 Pure Growth CBD and Aesthetic Elegance and Wellness are organizing their annual hygiene basket party, benefiting A New Leaf women’s shelter in Mesa, which provides a 60-bed refuge for victims of domestic violence.

“Our Fountain Hills community was instrumental in assembling 66 baskets last year. This year, we’re aiming for 100 baskets,” states the press release.

Participation is open to all businesses and communities. Donations can be dropped off at P39 Pure Growth CBD, 16810 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Suite 103, through Friday, Dec. 1.

‘Basket Party’ to Assemble Donations

The assembly of donations will take place at a “basket party” on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 5 p.m. in the Avenue of the Fountains Executive Suites parking lot. The event features light refreshments, music, and allows participating businesses to display their signs and banners.

Sought-after donations include new, full-sized items: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, combs, hair ties, bar or liquid soaps, razors, tampons, socks, and gum. Note: the shelter is not currently accepting clothing or used items.

The event coincides with the “Stroll in The Glow” community event. “We aim to bring love and hope to these women, as a community,” reads the press release.
