Donald Trump Shares Video Depicting Restrained Joe Biden
Ex-President Donald Trump posted a video on social media of a pickup truck featuring President Joe Biden tied up. The video, shot in Long Island, New York, had a truck with “Trump 2024” and a large image of a bound Biden.
Trump was in Long Island for the wake of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller. Regarding the video, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said the image was on a truck on the highway. Cheung accused “Democrats and crazed lunatics” of inciting violence against Trump.
Cheung referred to Biden’s 2018 remark about taking Trump “behind the gym” if he disparaged women. Biden campaign spokesman Michael Tyler criticized Trump for the video, suggesting it incites political violence, referring to the January 6 Capitol Police officers’ attack.
Trump has previously used violent imagery in his 2024 presidential campaign. On March 16, he predicted a “bloodbath” if not re-elected. Last year, he warned about “potential death and destruction” if charged in a hush money case.
He also shared an image on Truth Social of him with a baseball bat near Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s head, which was removed. He attacked Judge Juan Merchan on Truth Social, who is handling the hush money case.
Trump faces four criminal indictments related to election interference and hush money payments allegations. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
