The Asheville police are currently investigating an incident in which two women were stabbed at an apartment complex early on Sunday, June 2. Upon receiving calls at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers promptly arrived at Mission Hospital where the victims were being treated for multiple stab wounds.
The victims’ conditions varied — one was in critical condition, while the other had non-life-threatening injuries. According to police insights, the brutal attack took place on Atkinson Street. One of the victims managed to drive both of them to the hospital.
