FBI Manhunt for January 6 Assault Suspect Ends
The manhunt for Gregory Yetman, connected to the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, ended when he voluntarily surrendered to FBI authorities on Friday in Monroe Township, N.J.
The FBI had recently published pictures of Yetman from Jan. 6 when hundreds attacked the Capitol. Yetman allegedly escaped while a warrant was being served to him on Wednesday morning. Authorities believe he scaled a fence and fled toward train tracks close to a densely forested area.
The New Jersey National Guard confirmed that Yetman served for approximately 12 years until March 2022.
