Police Search for Two Individuals Involved in Drug-Related Incident

Two individuals are being sought by the Asheville Police Department after an incident involving drugs and a child in a vehicle. The police responded to a suspicious activities report close to 2:15 AM on Thursday. They discovered a vehicle with two unconscious individuals inside, presumably under the drug influence, and a child in the backseat.

The officers managed to rouse the driver, who then put the vehicle in reverse, hitting a patrol car, and almost running an officer over before escaping towards Tunnel Road. Although the vehicle wasn’t located, the police identified the two individuals as Keira Lane Van Hanken and Correy Allen Dolan, both 24-years old.

Van Hanken faces multiple charges, including reckless driving endangering others, child abuse, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dolan was charged with felony possession of Schedule II drugs, second degree trespass, child abuse, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Van Hanken is described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Dolan is roughly 6 feet tall, about 149 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
