US Senator Tammy Baldwin has announced that Wisconsin-based gener8tor will launch the “gener8tor Great Lakes Innovation Accelerator,” supported by a substantial award of $13.4 million. This fund will aid entrepreneurs and small businesses in creating new technologies to enhance the resilience of Great Lakes coastal communities and boost the maritime economy.

The initiative is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Ocean-Based Climate Resilience Accelerators program, backed by the Inflation Reduction Act endorsed by Senator Baldwin.
