Health imaging company Pro Medicus has secured a $30 million deal with large US medical group, Duly Health and Care, for the roll-out of their Visage products throughout the American Midwest. Duly Health and Care is a prominent Midwestern medical group, comprising of 150 clinics, 1,000 physicians, and 40 radiologists.
The seven-year agreement allows Duly Health access to Pro Medicus’ Visage 7 system. This advanced tool enables radiologists to read and interpret medical imagery, such as X-rays and CT scans. The deal was finalized via Pro Medicus’ US subsidiary, Visage Imaging.
Pro Medicus continues to strike lucrative deals in the US. The most prominent contract to date was last month’s $330 million agreement with Trinity Health, which manages 93 hospitals and 142 urgent care centres. The company reported a net profit of $82.8 million in its last annual earnings report from August, an increase of 36.5% year on year, and revenue of $161 million.
Pro Medicus CEO Sam Hupert stressed the strategic importance of this deal stating, “Duly Health and Care is an important deal for us as they operate in the outpatient radiology space, an area where we are starting to see increased opportunity.” He also noted the growing popularity of their fully cloud-engineered solution among Visage 7 clients, which is becoming a standard in the North American healthcare IT market, thanks to their CloudPACS strategy.
