As part of American Heart Month celebrations, Munson Healthcare Foundations gratefully received a $1 million donation for cardiac care from Richard and Deborah Pascoe, Traverse City locals.
The late Richard Pascoe, a periodontist in northern Michigan for more than four decades, was a dedicated supporter of local healthcare. His decision to make such a significant legacy gift was influenced by his neighbors, Bob and Pauline Young, who are longstanding Munson supporters.
Dr. Dino Recchia, MD, FACC, Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Service Line at Munson Healthcare, expressed his gratitude for the generous donation. He emphasized that the Pascoes’ funding would enhance their ability to offer advanced, life-saving care to patients across northern Michigan, further solidifying Munson’s reputation for providing top-quality cardiac care.
