In a similar vein, the Fijiana 7s coach, Saiasi Fuli, was not pleased with the team’s performance in their 33-7 defeat to the USA. The team easily lost possession, and their defensive shape was not up to par. Fuli remarked, “We have to go back and come back stronger in the next playoff.”

Both Fiji teams are set to participate in the 5th-place playoff. The Fijiana 7s will face off against Canada at 6.32 pm, whereas the Fiji 7s will go head-to-head with South Africa at 7 pm. Both games can be watched live on FBC TV.
