New Accessible Fitness Equipment at Lake City VA Medical Center
The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System (NF/SGVHS) has recently installed new accessible fitness equipment at the Lake City VA Medical Center, boosting its commitment to promote veteran health and well-being.
On March 20, 2025, the new Greenfields Outdoor Fitness equipment will be available for use. This equipment is accessible to all Veterans, their caregivers, and employees of the Lake City VA Medical Center.
A Move Towards Sustainable and Accessible Fitness
This inclusive fitness equipment is made from environmentally sustainable materials that ensure durability and safety, making it a valuable addition to the VA Medical Center’s facilities.

“This initiative is part of our continuous efforts to promote better health and well-being for all Veterans in the area,” says Janice Cornett, the Employee Whole Health Coordinator for NF/SGVHS. “Staying active is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and this equipment offers a fantastic opportunity to do just that.”
