Reebok Breaks Into Health Tech Market with Smart Ring and F45 Training Collaboration
On Friday, Reebok announced its entry into the health tech industry with the launch of their first smart ring. In addition, a new global partnership with boutique fitness franchise, F45 Training, was also unveiled. This alliance is geared towards integrating the F45 community with Reebok’s high-performance wear.
Features of the Reebok Smart Ring
The Reebok Smart Ring is engineered to assist users and trainers in monitoring their workouts, recovery, and overall health. Priced at $249, the ring gathers data such as your activities, heart rate, sleep patterns, stress levels, and body temperature. This collected information is then used to provide a comprehensive “One Score” that reflects your overall wellness and readiness. All your health data collected by the ring can be accessed via the Reebok Fitness app.
Reebok and F45 Training Partnership
As part of the partnership, F45 trainers will sport Reebok gear, and there will be a co-branded collection available on the Reebok website. F45 Training CEO, Tom Dowd, commented, “Collaborating with Reebok equips us with the necessary tools to actualize our vision on a global scale through gear, technology and experiences that elevate every workout.”
