Preparing for Celebrity Bear Hunt: Shirley Ballas’ Intense Fitness Regime
Celebrity Bear Hunt participant Shirley Ballas recently shed light on the demanding fitness routine she followed to prepare for the reality survival show on Netflix.
Shirley Ballas’ Fitness Routine for Celebrity Bear Hunt
As the head judge of Strictly and the oldest contestant on this competitive survival series, Shirley revealed how she managed to accomplish 10,000 steps every day before 7 am. Her fitness routine also featured yoga classes, regular rides on her Peloton bike, treadmill runs, and gym sessions. Such a demanding schedule was necessary to pass the physical fitness tests for the Celebrity Bear Hunt that were conducted before filming in April, to ensure the contestants were fit enough for the challenging conditions.
Note: Shirley’s fitness plan was customised for her own goals and was likely under the expert guidance of many health and fitness professionals. It’s important to consult a qualified health professional before embarking on any new workout regimen.
Shirley Ballas Discusses Her Fitness Routine for Celebrity Bear Hunt
In an interview prior to the show’s premiere on February 5th, Shirley told the Daily Mail that she would “get up super early before going to work, do yoga, ride the Peloton bike, run on the treadmill.” Though she admitted the routine was tough, especially at her age, she was determined to do her best. “I teach dancing for 12 hours every day. So yes, I’ve done the best that I can,” she stated.
