USA Today Nominates Dutch Wonderland for the 2023 10 Best Reader’s Choice Award for Top Theme Park Holiday Event

The expanded Dutch Winter Wonderland attraction at the Lancaster County amusement park is set to make its debut on November 18.

It’s a proud moment for Lancaster County amusement park, as it stands among the two Pennsylvania attractions nominated for the prestigious USA Today 2023 10 Best Readers’ Choice award in the Best Theme Park Holiday Event category.

Dutch Wonderland, is all set to unveil its all-new Dutch Winter Wonderland attraction on November 18. Concurrently, its Pittsburgh-area sister park, Kennywood, also received a nomination for this highly coveted award.

“Dutch Wonderland has truly brought the holiday spirit to life with the debut of Dutch Winter Wonderland scheduled for November 18. Guests can look forward to 10 all-new festive experiences, anchored by the Illumination Lane holiday light display, A Chris-Mouse Carol puppet show, and meet-and-greets at Santa’s Jolly Lodge,” the park informed through a press release.

On the other hand, Kennywood is set to kickstart the festive season with the grand Holiday Lights event, opening on Saturday, November 18. The highlight for this year is an all new Santa experience in Thomas Town, illuminated by over two million twinkling lights.

With Holiday Lights, Kennywood transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring more than 25 popular family rides, and delicious festive delicacies. Also, don’t miss the nightly lighting of the tallest Christmas tree in Pennsylvania, standing at a whopping 100 feet.
