WASHINGTON – On Fox News, AG Pam Bondi revealed receiving death threats while pushing for the death penalty against Luigi Mangione, accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
After Thompson’s murder, authorities arrested Mangione in Pennsylvania. Bondi ordered her agency to seek capital punishment in his federal case.
Mangione has denied state charges of terrorism and murder. He also faces federal accusations of murder and stalking, which his defense attorney calls politically motivated.
In his second term, one of Trump\’s orders directed the AG to ensure state availability of lethal injection drugs for executions.
