Accessing Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Funds Made Easier with New Website

Volunteers and organizations from North and South Carolina have launched energyfundsforall.org, a guide for residents to get support for energy projects at home and in the community.

Understanding the IRA and securing funding can be a challenge, but this new website aims to simplify the process. It offers organised sections for homeowners, renters, landlords, nonprofits, local governments, tribal governments and workforce development organisations.

Users can access comprehensive guides and one-pagers, making the most of the available funds. The site’s goal is not only to provide information but also to empower residents to apply for funding they are entitled to.

The Geos Institute is setting up a Southeast Navigator Network to help communities get access to funding for resilience against climate disasters. Both Ocracoke and Hatteras belong to these communities and will be assisted by the NC Office of Recovery and Resiliency.
