Chances of Extended Ground Stop and Flight Disturbances

The FAA stated that there’s a possibility of 30% to 60% that the ground stop could extend beyond the estimated time. Over 100 flights were reported to be either delayed or cancelled because of the foggy weather conditions and other related issues.

Ground Stop Lifted

By 9:55 a.m., the ground stop at Phoenix Sky Harbor had been lifted, resuming normal flight operations.
