Lotus Brew Coffee Opens New Location in Grand Rapids

After relocating from a temporary space last fall, Lotus Brew Coffee is finally opening a larger, permanent location in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The opening, previously delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, is eagerly anticipated by owner Maxwell Freeman and his team.

“It’s been challenging, but we’ve had significant support,” commented Freeman.

Freeman initially expected to open in December 2023, but certain uncontrollable factors led to the delay. “We underestimated the duration of the project,” he admitted.

Prioritizing inclusivity, the new Lotus Brew Coffee aims to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. “The core idea of our shop is to offer a welcoming space for the queer community and various other wonderful communities in Grand Rapids,” said Freeman.

Launch Details

Lotus Brew Coffee is planning a soft opening from July 4 through July 7 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., followed by a grand opening. The shop is conveniently situated at 211 Diamond Avenue South East in Grand Rapids.
