A police spokesperson confirmed that “multiple victims” were transported to local hospitals.

The Boston Medical Center spokesperson directed CNN to police for information regarding the shooting.

The city’s Caribbean carnival was planned with two separate parades on Saturday, per a local traffic advisory.
