Several Injured in Boston’s Dorchester Parade Shooting – Police Statement
A shooting at a parade in Boston resulted in at least seven people being injured, all of whom are suffering non-life threatening injuries. The incident occurred during the Jouvert Parade, which is part of Boston’s Caribbean carnival. Several arrests were made in connection to the shooting and firearms were recovered from the scene.

The incident happened during the Jouvert Parade, a segment of the city’s annual Caribbean carnival, informed Sgt. Det. John Boyle of the Boston Police Department.
Emergency calls began at 7.45 a.m. reporting a shooting at Blue Hill Avenue and Talbot Avenue in Dorchester.
A police spokesperson confirmed that “multiple victims” were transported to local hospitals.
The Boston Medical Center spokesperson directed CNN to police for information regarding the shooting.
The city’s Caribbean carnival was planned with two separate parades on Saturday, per a local traffic advisory.
