On Monday night, Stockton Police shot a suspect following a firearm disturbance, as reported by the Stockton Police Department. Officers were called to the scene near the 1700 block of W Fremont Street around 10 p.m., where they located and shot the suspect. Multiple agencies are now investigating the shooting, and no officers were injured in the incident.

As of Tuesday morning, sections of Fremont Street towards downtown were still blocked off near the I-5 offramp. Investigators were visible at the scene outside the Concentra Urgent Care center under I-5. No further information has been released yet.
