Stockton Police Engage in Shooting Incident with Suspect
Stockton police shot a suspect after responding to a disturbance involving a firearm near the 1700 block of W Fremont Street at around 10 p.m. Multiple agencies are investigating the shooting, and no officers were injured during the incident. As of Tuesday morning, parts of Fremont Street were blocked off and investigators were seen working the scene outside the Concentra Urgent Care center under Interstate 5.
Stockton Police Shoot Suspect During Disturbance
On Monday night, Stockton Police shot a suspect following a firearm disturbance, as reported by the Stockton Police Department. Officers were called to the scene near the 1700 block of W Fremont Street around 10 p.m., where they located and shot the suspect. Multiple agencies are now investigating the shooting, and no officers were injured in the incident.
As of Tuesday morning, sections of Fremont Street towards downtown were still blocked off near the I-5 offramp. Investigators were visible at the scene outside the Concentra Urgent Care center under I-5. No further information has been released yet.
