In a study conducted by CareerMinds.com, Asheville outclasses cities like Pasadena, California in considerations such as economic diversity, lifestyle, technology impact, job transition support, and job market evolution response.

The study which polled 3,000 people considering a career move to a new city, underscored the key factors behind Asheville’s appeal.

Asheville’s thriving industries are experiencing a significant boost from immigration according to Clark Duncan, Senior VP of Economic Development for the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. He noted, “Our manufacturing, healthcare, vital hospitality, and professional technical services communities have remained the fastest-growing part of our economy overall for the past decade.”
