Knowledge Jamal Davis, 18, has been charged with first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied property, following the death of 49-year-old Terry Lee Landrum Sr. Additionally, 33-year-old Aria Shaquana Waters has been arrested and faces charges for accessory after the fact, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of a stolen firearm.


Asheville Shooting: Two Arrests Connected to Long Shoals Road Shooting

The Asheville Police Department recently confirmed the arrest of two suspects related to the fatal shooting on Long Shoals Road that took place on Sunday, June 16.

Knowledge Jamal Davis, an 18-year-old, was apprehended on June 19, and charged with first-degree murder in the death of 49-year-old Terry Lee Landrum Sr. Davis also faces charges for discharging a weapon into an occupied property.

33-year-old Aria Shaquana Waters was arrested on June 18. She has been charged with accessory after the fact and is currently held on a $150,000 bond. In addition to this, Waters is facing charges for possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of a stolen firearm.

Asheville Police Discovers Victim at Apartment Complex

On June 16, officers were called to the Artisan at Biltmore Park apartment complex in south Asheville around 6 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man, later identified as Landrum Sr., dead from a gunshot wound.

The Asheville Police Department announced that further information regarding the arrests will be released on June 20.
