Runners Race to End Breast Cancer at 2022 Donna Marathon

At the Donna Marathon, the time you finish in is only part of the experience. This event at Jacksonville Beach serves to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research while providing resources for survivors and their families.

Donna Marathon Health and Wellness Expo

The Donna Marathon doesn’t just consist of the race, it also includes the two-day Donna Marathon Health and Wellness Expo. This event, aimed at supporting breast cancer research, is an opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in the fight against the disease.

New Expo Venue

After facing relocation due to renovations of EverBank Stadium, the Donna Marathon Health and Wellness Expo has found a new home at the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic. The annual expo and its accompanying health presentations are scheduled to take place on Jan. 30-31, just ahead of the marathon on Feb. 1.

Thrive Well Series

Alongside the expo, the two-day Thrive Well series will cover a range of topics, from advances in screening and detection to the role of new technologies in breast cancer treatment. The educational schedule for the Expo will run from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days. The series will also be available for online viewing for those unable to attend in person.

Marathon Weekend at Mayo Clinic

The relocation of the Expo brings part of the marathon weekend back to familiar territory – the Mayo Clinic, where the marathon had its finish line for its first decade. “It feels very much like a homecoming,” said Donna Foundation executive director Amanda Napolitano.
