Apple Fitness Plus Updates for 2026

Welcome to the new year with new additions to the Apple Fitness Plus fitness catalog. Commencing from Jan. 5, you can enjoy the latest workout programs designed to help you ease back into exercise routines, alongside new Time to Walk episodes, guest trainers, and artist spotlights.

Apple Fitness Plus Expands its Audience

In 2025, Apple’s renowned fitness platform introduced digital dubbing for its classes, allowing you to take classes in languages like Spanish, German, and Japanese, hence broadening its potential audience.

New Workout Programs for 2026

Starting the new year, you can enjoy four new workout programs, designed to cater to diverse fitness needs and levels.

Make Your Fitness Comeback: Tailored for those getting back onto the fitness track, this program features workouts like strength training, HIIT, and yoga.

The Strength Basics in 3 Weeks: Launching on Jan. 12, this program aims to help you grasp the fundamentals of strength training. It includes three workouts per week, focusing on different body parts each week to enhance your understanding of exercise techniques and form.

Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT: This program offers three 20-minute workouts, combining popular workouts types – 10 minutes of strength and 10 minutes of HIIT – for an intense, balanced regimen.

Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks: For aspiring yogis, this program offers two 10-minute flows each week, helping you incorporate yoga into your regular fitness routine.

Personalized Workout Plans

To help with consistency, you can create personalized exercise plans, selecting your workout days, preferred workout forms, workout length, favorite music, and trainers, giving you a more customized experience.

Additional Apple Fitness Plus Features

If you enjoy artist spotlights, anticipate Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter KAROL G’s features. Also, new episodes of the Time to Walk series will star actors Michelle Monaghan, Penn Badgley, and musical artist Mel B. Furthermore, popular social creator Allie Bennett will host a treadmill strut workout.

Users of the Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3 can view their personal metrics on screen during workouts, tracking calories burned, heart rate, and activity ring progress, fostering a little friendly competition.

Apple Fitness Plus is accessible on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with these new features launching on Jan. 5.
