Revolutionize Your Fitness with Aqua Tula: Safe & Effective Water Therapy in Singapore

Discover the Aqua Tula Method: An Innovative Approach to Wellness

Recovery and wellness in Sydney didn’t just allow Sander to return to a normal life. This process ignited a passion in her, leading her to acquire multiple fitness and wellness certifications.

Recognized Fitness and Wellness Certifications

Starting with her NASM personal training certification, Sander utilized this base knowledge to earn additional certifications. She became a certified professional in pre- and post-natal fitness, the Total Resistance System (TRX), functional training, movement training, and Trigger Point therapy. Lastly, she received her Aqua Instructor International Certification from the Federation of International Sports, Aerobics, and Fitness (FISAF).

A Degree and A New Life Adventure

After a recovery period of nearly three years, Sander returned to academics, earning an art history degree from the Sydney University. In 2006, she relocated to Hong Kong, exploring diverse careers ranging from an art gallery to real estate. Amidst shifting her base among Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok, Sander started her family.

The Birth of Aqua Tula

Post her second pregnancy, Sander experienced post-partum depression. During this challenging phase, she found solace and healing in water. She noticed a lack of support and guidance for women, particularly during the post-partum stage when rebuilding core strength is vital.

Capitalizing on her prior training and knowledge, Sander devised her Aqua Tula method upon her return to Singapore from Bangkok. This led to the establishment of her aqua therapy training company, Aqua Tula, in 2019.

The Philosophy of Aqua Tula

‘Tula’, a Sanskrit term for ‘balance’, was a fitting choice for Sander’s methodology, considering her personal journey. She strongly advocates moderation in all aspects of life, stemming from her own experiences with extreme coping mechanisms in her earlier years.

Her healing journey from post-partum depression, following an emergency C-section, was largely facilitated by water and the methods she currently employs in her classes. She stated, “It was the water and the methods that I use today in my classes that brought me back to life.”
