Fox News has officially announced that Jesse Watters will be taking over the anchor spot on Fox News Tonight. Watters currently hosts the 7 p.m. opinion show Jesse Watters Primetime and is a regular on The Five. Since Carlson’s exit, the show has been hosted by a rotating group of Fox News personalities.

Watters, who started his career at Fox News as a production assistant, has climbed the ranks to become one of the network’s most popular conservative voices.

Changes in the Fox News Primetime Schedule

With Watters moving to the 8 p.m. time slot, the whole Fox News primetime schedule will see some changes. Laura Ingraham‘s show will move to 7 p.m., Sean Hannity‘s segment will remain at 9 p.m., and Greg Gutfeld‘s comedy program will air at 10 p.m.
