The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) recently unveiled the winner of the 2024 Blueberry Festival poster contest. Garnering over 2000 public votes out of 44 submissions, Lindsey Losinski’s vibrant “Pop of Blue” poster triumphed.

Losinski’s win came with a $300 prize, and her artwork is set to be showcased online and around Marquette to promote the upcoming festival. The DDA believes this contest is an effective way to involve the community in the Blueberry Fest.

Marquette DDA’s Business and Outreach Coordinator, Mike Bradford, said the contest sparks excitement and builds momentum for the festival months ahead. “It’s a good way to get everyone involved and generate traction for the festival in advance,” stated Bradford.
