The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has announced overnight lane restrictions as bridge construction over the Gila River continues, part of the ongoing I-10 Wild Horse Pass Corridor Projects.
On Monday, June 17, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, the eastbound I-10 will have its left lane near the Gila River bridges (mileposts 172-173) shut off. On June 18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, the left lane on westbound I-10 near the bridges will be closed.
Travelers are advised to allocate extra travel time, be cautious, and reduce speed when driving through the construction work zone. The speed limit in the work zone is 55 mph.
