Davie Albarran, a suspect featured on ‘America’s Most Wanted’, was apprehended thanks to a TikTok campaign by his daughters. Albarran, 51, is accused of sexually assaulting two minors.

Albarran was arrested in Lakeland, Florida, on charges of sexual battery and lewd conduct towards a child under 12. He had been on the run for 451 days and was discovered hiding in a shed.

His daughters, Ana and Yaneiry, spearheaded efforts to find him, gaining hundreds of thousands of TikTok views and attention from the show ‘America’s Most Wanted’. They alleged more victims have contacted them since launching their campaign.

In desperation, Ana publicized the accusations on Facebook, asking for help in locating Albarran. Over the past 18 months, the sisters used billboards, stakeouts, and interviews to spotlight their father’s alleged crimes.

Ana claimed her father also acted inappropriately with her, and that numerous other victims have shared similar stories. The sisters assert they will ‘believe’ any children who come forward and won’t allow a family cover-up to continue.

Upon learning of Albarran’s arrest, the sisters celebrated, stating “we are his karma.” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd commented on Albarran’s arrest, stating, “He made a mistake… we received confidential information… and took him into custody.”

Albarran reportedly tried to give a false name to evade arrest, but officers saw through his deception. Details regarding his charges and trial are pending.
