Big Brothers Big Sisters Central Upper Peninsula Wins Growth Award
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Upper Peninsula (BBBSCUP) has been honored with the 2023 Growth Award by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) for program excellence.
Every year, the BBBSA Nationwide Leadership Council commends superior implementation of their 1-to-1 youth mentoring program, selecting agencies from over 230 countrywide. BBBSCUP is among the top 100 organizations to receive this prestigious award.
The Growth Award assesses agencies based on the increase in matched mentors (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”) in the program year over year. BBBSCUP has served 214 children and doubled its local services in the past year.
