Tempe Siblings Pay Tribute to Veterans Through Music

Three siblings from Tempe, Arizona, honor war veterans with their music and social media. Daylon, Daura, and Devon make up the group “Life in 3D”, they started sharing their music through YouTube several years ago and have since amassed over 115,000 subscribers.

Devon said, “Our parents recognized our talent and gifted us with a microphone for Christmas. That’s when we began recording.” The idea for their latest video, “The Last Goodbye, a Memorial Day Tribute,” came about after reading a news article about WWII veterans.

Daylon commented on the emotional depth of their latest piece, “You hear it, and you can just feel the emotion inside of you.” As a part of this project, they asked their YouTube community to share pictures and stories of loved ones who served in WWII.

They received hundreds of responses, further fueling their passion for honoring veterans. Daura explained, “This video spiked an awareness and a desire to know more about these heroes and to also continue this appreciation among the younger generations.” Daylon added, “If we don’t remember these people, we lose sight of what we have.”
